Not only is he giving the stuff away, but he is also paying for the shipping. There are currently 24 items for giveaway and a random commenter will be drawn for each item when the comment count reaches 100.

He is hoping that the revenue from the ads on the site pay for the shipping and other costs. He will be continuing to post stuff up there is he is able to break even or make money from the ad revenue.
